Whiskey Creek Camping Stay

A private, off-grid camping experience tucked away in the Byron hinterland on Manns Road, Uki. Whiskey Creek is intentionally minimal — spacious private camping areas, fire pits (seasonal restrictions apply), portaloo facilities, freshwater creeks, and direct access to bushwalking trails including the Unicorn Falls Walking Track.

🌿 Environmental & Wildlife Protection

The property is spray-free and pesticide-free to help protect local wildlife and ecosystems. The land is home to an extraordinary array of native fauna including glow worms, fireflies, native fish, shrimp, yabbies, platypus, freshwater mussels, blue claw species, and other protected wildlife.

• Native flora and fauna are protected — no collecting, disturbing, or removing wildlife or plants from the property
• Absolutely no washing, use of detergents, soaps, or chemicals in or near waterways — detergents can severely damage the ecosystem and kill aquatic life
• Preserve the natural environment and leave no trace
• Respect the waterways, wildlife, and surrounding bushland during your stay

📋 Booking Details

• Maximum 1 family per site
• 2 adults + children
• A refundable $100 security bond is required for all bookings
• Cancellation window: 7 days prior to arrival (policy to be confirmed)
• Management reserves the right to cancel bookings in the event of dangerous weather conditions including high winds, fire risk, flooding, or other safety concerns

🔥 Fire Safety

• Guests must familiarise themselves with fire safety procedures and locate fire safety equipment on arrival
• Fire pits available subject to seasonal fire restrictions
